Specimen Requirements

Specimen Type: Whole blood

Container/Tube: Pink K2 EDTA

Specimen Volume: 6 mL (Full tube)

Specimen Minimum Volume: 5 mL 

Specimen Stability: 72 Hours

COLLECTION INFORMATION: 

1. This test can only be collected by specially trained members of RRMC.  For more information, contact the Blood Bank at 802-747-1809.
2. A sticker from the current Blood Bank ID bracelet must accompany patient identifiers on the specimen.
