Collection Instructions: Use 1 or 2 culture swabs.
1. Insert swab(s) in vagina, and sample vaginal introitus.
2. Insert same swab(s) approximately 1 inch beyond anal sphincter. Gently rotate swab(s) to sample anal crypts. Feces should be evident on swab.

Normal Reference: Negative

Positives for Group B Strep automatically have susceptibilities performed if patient has penicillin allergy.
