Important Note

*This test is orderable in Cerner as ARC Molecular HEA RBC Panel

and requires (3) full lavender tubes.  When possible, this test should not be collected on Fridays.

Specimen Requirements

Specimen Type: Whole Blood

Container/Tube: 3  Lavender EDTA

Specimen Volume: 4 mL (full tube) 

Specimen Minimum Volume: 8 mL (total)

Specimen Stability: 72 Hours

COLLECTION INFORMATION:
1.This test can only be collected by specially trained members of RRMC.  For more information, contact the Blood Bank at 802-747-1809.
2.  Analytical TAT may be up to 2 weeks after receipt at ARC National Molecular.
