Rapid Strep A Test*

Important Note

*This test is orderable in Cerner as Rapid Strep A Test

In order to help ensure a low false negative test rate for our patients, all negative Rapid Strep A tests will be cultured. The culture will automatically be added as a reflex test for any Rapid Strep A test with a negative result. A culture report will be issued within two (2) days from the completion of the Rapid Strep A test result. This change will also help us remain compliant with our accrediting agency.
