Specimen Requirements

Specimen Minimum Volume: 2mL

Fluid from lavage of lung or particular segment of lung

Specimen Collection and Transport

Collect specimen in sterile container: Luki Trap Tube

Stable at Room Temperature. 

If collected after hours, please refrigerate.

If delay of >12 hours from specimen collection, add up to 30 mL of CytoLyt® fluid to container, and refrigerate all portions.
