Test used to determine the presence of cellular changes associated with herpes infection.

Air dried or fixed prepared microscope slides OR may submit scraped material in CytoLyt© or ThinPrep® vial.

If prepared slides, must label slides or requisition with fixation type or none for air dried slides.

Deliver all slides and other materials to Cytopathology lab.

Stable at Room Temperature.
