Place specimen on wet ice and deliver to Laboratory immediately.

Specimen must arrive within 15 minutes of draw.

Specimen Type: Whole blood

Container/Tube: Dark-green top (lithium heparin)-Any other tube is not acceptable.

Specimen Volume: Full tube

Specimen Minimum Volume: 1 mL

Collection Instructions:

1. Place specimen on wet ice.

2. Send specimen in original tube.
